Round the Bays 2012

Yet again LFT Residents are walking/wheeling the 7km around the Wellington Harbour on Sunday 26th February. The walk begins at 9.20am at Frank Kitts Park.
As always we need a ceratin number of voluneteers to help make this possible. Thanks to those who have offered your help and if any families/friends want to come along please get in touch with Moira.

Boccia Ball League

After rejuvenating the Boccia in Porirua and getting a great response from Lower Hutt participants Parafed NZ have found a location in Lower Hutt (conveniently for us) to hold their fortnightly Boccia Ball league.
A number of residents from LFT have joined and attend on a regular basis. It is a great way to meet other people and enjoy a social Saturday morning.

Cerebral Palsy 60th Anniversary

The 60th Anniversary of the C.P Society has been held in Auckland in March 2011 - see below to read accounts of this trip from Jane and Nicola.

LFT Wanganui Visits
Two of the residents have had the opportunity over the December/ January period to have a change of scenery and visit
Wanganui on separate occasions. This has been a great success and gave them a chance to have a break from Wellington and LFT and get to catch up with friends and family in the area.
